Abstract

Financial independence is needed as a person's provision to have a better quality of life. STKIP PGRI Lumajang as an educational institution through the Economics Education Study Program has programmed several activities so that students have the ability to create new businesses. The purpose of this study was to see to what extent the effectiveness of the bazaar could lead to self-confidence and form student entrepreneurship interest starting through college. Informants in this study were students of Economic Education Class 2019, Head of Study Program and all Economic Education lecturers at STKIP PGRI Lumajang. The research method uses a qualitative with a narrative approach.The results of the analysis show that most of the students of the Economics Education Study Program are able to provide descriptions related to entrepreneurship. The mindset of having an independent business little by little is able to be owned by students through entrepreneurship courses. Bazaar activities which are held internally are actually able to provide fresh air to students in increasing interest and motivation so that their confidence in their potential can be channeled properly.With the findings of this research, the researcher hopes that the research results can be used as a reference for the development of the field of entrepreneurship. This research is also expected to be a recommendation for STKIP PGRI Lumajang to provide more support in meeting the needs of students, especially in the form of practice
