Abstract

Employee performance is the key to the success of a company. The low performance of employees at PT. Bima Multi Finance is one of the problems in achieving the company's targets. This study aims to determine the effect of rewards and punishments on employee performance at PT. Bima Multi Finance, Metro City. The nature of the research is quantitative and the data collection techniques used in this study are interviews, observation and interviews, questionnaires. In this study, the analytical tool used is the validity test, reliability test for normality and hypothesis testing to determine the relationship between the two, namely the dependent and independent variables. Based on the results of the regression test, the results were (Y = 23.822 + 0.629 X1 + 0.347 X2 - 0.007 X1X2) and the t test results (X1) t count was 1.699 greater than t table of 1.670, while (X2) t count was 1.879 greater than t table of 1,670. Reward and Punishment have a significant effect on employee performance. This shows that the changes that occur in Rewards and Punishment will affect employee performance. This can indicate that an increase in Rewards and Punishment will increase employee performance and vice versa if a decrease in Rewards and Punishment will affect the decrease in employee performance
